Welcome to my website. My name is Dr. John Helminski. I am a licensed psychologist who provides clinical and forensic psychological services in Cary, North Carolina. For over twenty years I have been providing therapy and assessment for children, adolescents and adults. Additionally, I conduct forensic psychological evaluations and offer consultation to attorneys.

Child and adolescent problems for which I provide treatment include: depression, ADHD, anxiety, behavior difficulties , adjustment to parents’ divorce, and recovery from abuse and other trauma. In my forensic practice, I offer assessment, consultation and expert witness services for attorneys. My credentials include board certification in forensic psychology through the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP).
